Good,casual food for an easy night! Plenty of TVs around for all the sport enthusiasts. Service was quick. I wouldn't go there if you are trying to drop a few pounds, because cheese sounds on a lot of the food. Probably why I enjoyed it so much. Also very affordable, it didn't cost any more than a fast food run and we got to sit down and be waited on. Much needed easy going restaurant in the New Bern area. Word must be out, it was packed.

As locals we go there often. It's reliable, the menu is simple pub style and good, the service is excellent. They have a nice regular bar crowd that enjoys the simple social bar conversation. Try their sauteed mushrooms as a side dish no mater what you order.

I'd eat here again, it was pub food, it wasn't crappy, the soda was fizzy the wooden raised booths are kinda cool. The service was quick enough. Way better than Savage Microwave Pizza place by Tryon.
It's a local bar and grill, food and drinks were good, local gossip and happenings with Carolina sports on TV. Had fun watching the nfl playoff game.
I love everything about this place! From the dirt cheap beers to the super tasty food! It's small but I kind of like small dive bars like this. Seriously if you're in the area and you want an amazing meal with some cheap beer, this is the place to go!
Brought my crew here because of the name. The food was excellent we were not disappointed. The service was excellent. We were sat down immediately and drinks were prompt. The health rating is 95 A so no worries there. The place seemed clean. The host found a place for 7 on a walk in. Waitress was kind and polite. Our food was made correctly. All in all great place
My wife and I stopped in here for the first time. I had read some nice reviews so we wanted to give them a try. It's a cozy bar and grill that would be great for lunch or dinner. After checking out the menu, we both wanted to try the cheesesteak hoagie. Being from Philadelphia and having had the real thing, we knew nothing could compare but we went in with open minds. Kathey got the cheesesteak along with a house salad while I chose fries and a cup of vegetable beef soup with my cheesesteak. The sandwiches were a bit drier than an original Philly cheesesteak but overall it was good. The food was served very hot and it was flavorful. A little more sauce or something else to moisten it up and the cheesesteak would have been much better. So, we are glad we stopped in and will probably go back again to try other items on the menu.
